| Review: | Rude, Deceitful, and Stereotyping I am undergoing the unique situation of having two vehicles crash into me - one insured by Grange and one insured by another company. The other company has been respectful, honest, helpful, and prompt. They are trying to take the claim and then settle with Grange. The Grange agent I spoke to could see that I was 23 years old driving a luxury German import and apparently assumed I was driving a car my mommy bought for me... how foolish. He has been talking down to me about how how my vehicle will be fixed HIS way. The repair costs were estimated at the dealer's recommended body shop, one of the most respected European shops in my region, and the Grange agent said in a haughty voice, "Well we don't accept estimates from XXXX body shop." The other insurance company assured me that I had the right to have my vehicle repaired at the shop of my choosing (as did my own insurance company), namely the dealer recommended shop. This isn't good enough for the jerk at Grange. Since I am young, he has taken a very haughty attitude towards telling me how things work in his world (how he can push me under the rug as cheaply as possible). Just because I'm young doesn't mean that I am stupid or spoiled. If the idiot would check the title (or my checkbook and see that I paid for the car in cash), you would think he would wonder if maybe I've just played my cards right and might actually know what I'm doing. He cut me off mid-sentence several times, only to explain how naive I was when I was regurgitating information from the other insurance company, the damage report from the body shop, and my lunch. This sorry excuse of a second rate insurance agency should not be reviewed on this site... it really shouldn't exist if this (insert favorite curse here) represents the company's policies. | Review: | Can't belive this! I have had Progressive ins. for years to cover my motorcycles. I,unfortunatly, had to make a theft claim on my bike. I was already upset to find that my bike had been stolen, then Progressive starts their run around. After Four long months fighting with progressive, I have still recieved no benifits. The people that I have talked to representing their company have been rude, and misleading. I have filed a complaint with the state board of insurance, and will be filing a law suit as well. They made it abundantly clear that they would rather lose customers than pay claims! Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | PROGRESSIVE IS RIDICULAS I was recently stopped on a freeway and out of nowhere some guys slams into the back of my car. My back winshield shatters and ruins the back of my car! and my dog kennel was in the back. I was extreamly lucky I had put him in his doggy seat belt up front or he would have been dead. So the guy is driving someone elses car who is insured by progressive. we set up the whoel thing and I end up going into the hospital and a chiropractor because I m in pain. they payed for my car just fine bought me a new dog kennel and then when it came to the bodily injury claims rep everything went down hill they offered to pay for my medical and then $1000 for anything else so I sign the paper. and the next thing I know there closing my claim only paying my medical and never writing me a check for $1000. I have a copy of the contract still not sure what to do. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | The Worst at Handling Claims Don't ever get hit by someone insurred by Allstate. My Daughter was rearended last year by someone with Nationwide insurance and the entire incedent could not have been handled better. Now for Allstate... My Wife was rearended this time. They have been extreamly slow to act on getting things done and when asked by the body shop to come look at additional repairs that were needed they took three days to come look at it. Costing us more for the rental time. When we got home from picking up the car we noticed that there was still a crease in the back door and bumper cover and an interior panel damaged in the accident looked like it had not even been touched. In talking with the body shop we found that the Allstate Adjuster had not approved any repair to these items. After many phone calls they are having it go back to the body shop and are at this time acting like they still want to argue about the damage and repairs. They have one chance to get this right in the morning or my lawyer is on speed dial. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | the hartford Poor customer service. Would not pay for a claim that was not appraised by them prior to the repair. I asked to know how much my premiums would increasee over the next few years if I were to submit the claim. The Hartford would not tell me or even give me an estimate. Comments [ 0 ] |
