Review: No loyalty to a 22 year policy holder
AS A 22 YEAR POLICY HOLDER BOTH HOMEOWNERS AND AUTO I RECENTLY HAD A ONE CAR ACCIDENT. NO OTHER VEHICLE INVOLVED / NO POLICE / NO CITATION.
HAVEING 3 CARS AND FIVE PROPERTIES INSURED WITH WESTFIELD AS I STATED FOR 22 YEARS MY VERY FIRST AUTO CLAIM GOT ME A $600.00+ INCREASE IN MY PREMIUMS.

Review: Sarcastic Adjuster
I have been dealing with Insurance Adjusters for over 20 plus years. Westfield has the rudest, most unpleasant people to work with. Please do yourself a favor if your currently insured by Westfield. Find another company because they refuse to pay most of the claims for hail and wind damage on homes and their adjusters are very mean. Sincerely, James a Construction Company owner from Medina, Ohio

Review: poor service
I had a "fender bender" - very small claim. My car was fixed quickly, however, there were so many delays with the other car (I hit) that I was threatened with personal litigation. The claims adjuster was worthless. I was a Westfield customer for over 20 years, never filed a claim or missed a payment and have an excellent credit score. Premium went up 40%. Letter of concern sent to the president of the company and his response was a "form letter".

Review: Used to be good - now just like the rest!
My car was rearended by a Westfield Insurance customer on October 6, 2010. My car was returned to me on November 18, 2010. Mr. Sean O'Gorman has been my "liability specialist," and he has proven rather unhelpful. He always sounds as though I am annoying him by calling (even when I was calling to HELP him with his investigation by providing contact numbers for the other drivers), and he informs me that despite the fact I was without my car for 42 days, I can only be reimbursed for 20. Furthermore, if I "really needed" a car, he says I should have taken it up with my own insurance company. Why would I do that when Westfield said they had rental reimbursement?? My first experience with Westfield in December 2009 was easy, swift, and friendly. This incident was the polar opposite and exemplifies why insurance companies have a bad reputation.

Review: Worst Auto-Insurance Provider EVER
I have been covered by Westfield for 10 years now, and have never submitted a single auto claim. Recently, I submitted my first late payment ever (within the grace period, no less), and on my next statement my premiums increased by 60%!!!

Furthermore, when I bought my first home and went to Westfield for my home-owner's as well, they had the most astronomical rates of any of the quotes I sought out.

Suffice it to say, I will be dropping their coverage like a bad habit!
