Review: Watch Out For Cars With A USAA Bumper Sticker
I was rear-ended by a USAA customer the day after Thanksgiving. The kid was doing 50 MPH and texting when he hit me at a stop-light. The USAA adjuster who finally called after five days says they have no responsibility to repair my car or pay what it would actually cost to purchase a replacement. They claim they pay you what your car is worth, and they get to make the formula for this. $3000.00 worth of recent receipts and copies of worse cars selling on e-bay for over twice their offer will not phase these hard-headed adjusters. Avoid USAA at all cost, they are dangerously crooked.

I couldn't have said it better my self. The same thing happened to me in NE. We are about $1000 to $1500 away from the actual replacement value of my vehicle. Isn't there something that can be done about these crooks?

I agree, I just had this happen I was looking at Autotrader with the same year make and model of my truck, identical miles and it was prized 1000 higher than they were offering, of course they say we check all around and yet the documents they send me show they were looking at low end models while mine was top of line. Beware if you need to file a claim with them

So you're mad because you found vehicles selling on ebay and autotrader for more than they say your car is worth? Why not pull up the bluebook? I'm assuming the KBB value of your car is less than what you're finding on ebay. Maybe you're just trying to get more than you deserve. USAA isn't going to go look at car dealers to determine the value of your vehicle. A random person's asking price hardly justifies the value of your similar vehicle.
