| Review: | CANCELLED SERVICE MEMEBER I have have been a USAA member for over 15 years. I had an active checking, saving, renters insurance and kid 1st savings accounts. I recieved a letter stating that my renters insurance policy would not be renewed due to me causing USAA to lose money and the way I handled my accounts. My account has be paid late once but has never had a claim filed with USAA in over 15 years of coverage- and they tell me because I caused them to lose money!!! USAA has also closed all other accounts without any notification or discussion on how to get my funds from my account. I would think that USAA would take the time to fully explain the reason a loyal service member would be cancelled with no formal mediation or appellate system. This has happen to numerous fellow active duty members at a time when savings, investments and insurance are of utmost importance. I strongly beg all servicemembers to talk with other Banking and Insurance institutions before seeking USAA accounts. Truly not worth investing and/or banking with USAA in the long run!! |
