| Review: | great claims service I recently had a bumper crack due to flat tire lying on the road. All i did was opened the claim online web site and the claims rep called me within 24 hours and asked me to get to one of the authorized repair centers. They arranged for a rental car as well. Although the cost of insurance might be a dollar or two more than other cheaper companies, its worth it. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Rude, Deceitful, and Stereotyping I am undergoing the unique situation of having two vehicles crash into me - one insured by Grange and one insured by another company. The other company has been respectful, honest, helpful, and prompt. They are trying to take the claim and then settle with Grange. The Grange agent I spoke to could see that I was 23 years old driving a luxury German import and apparently assumed I was driving a car my mommy bought for me... how foolish. He has been talking down to me about how how my vehicle will be fixed HIS way. The repair costs were estimated at the dealer's recommended body shop, one of the most respected European shops in my region, and the Grange agent said in a haughty voice, "Well we don't accept estimates from XXXX body shop." The other insurance company assured me that I had the right to have my vehicle repaired at the shop of my choosing (as did my own insurance company), namely the dealer recommended shop. This isn't good enough for the jerk at Grange. Since I am young, he has taken a very haughty attitude towards telling me how things work in his world (how he can push me under the rug as cheaply as possible). Just because I'm young doesn't mean that I am stupid or spoiled. If the idiot would check the title (or my checkbook and see that I paid for the car in cash), you would think he would wonder if maybe I've just played my cards right and might actually know what I'm doing. He cut me off mid-sentence several times, only to explain how naive I was when I was regurgitating information from the other insurance company, the damage report from the body shop, and my lunch. This sorry excuse of a second rate insurance agency should not be reviewed on this site... it really shouldn't exist if this (insert favorite curse here) represents the company's policies.
