| Review: | Farmers Insurance--Pocketing Your Money My father was recently in an accident with one of Farmers Auto insurees. He was hit from behind on his bike in the bike lane. He was wearing a fluorescent yellow reflective vest and had at least two lights flashing on the back of his bike. Two witnesses observed the accident and made their statements to the police--both stating that he was hit from behind in the bike lane. My father's wrist was broken on impact, and his leg was injured but didn't require medical attention. The shock of the accident (he didn't see it coming) was causing him to pass out after the first few minutes, so he was transported by ambulance to the hospital. They had to run some tests. His wrist had to be set and put in a cast. The medical bills added up to about $15,000. I was present for his initial phone conversation with the claims representative from Farmers. She was rude and demeaning. She asked an unnecessary amount of questions to try to find fault with him and his claim in any way possible and showed absolutely no compassion for his situation. Several weeks and calls later, Farmers paid the replacement value of his bicycle (not including all the upgrades he had made). It's been two months now, and Farmers is aware of the cost of the medical bills but has made no offer and has paid nothing for his injuries. Due to Farmers failing to follow through, he is now being forced to require the money from his medical insurance and his own auto insurance, although he was in no way at fault in the accident. IF YOU PAY FOR AN INSURANCE POLICY, DON'T YOU EXPECT THE COMPANY TO PAY IF YOU ARE AT FAULT? WHAT IF A FARMERS INSUREE HITS YOU? WHAT EXACTLY DO THEY DO AT FARMERS IF THEY DON'T PAY THE MEDICAL BILLS OF THOSE INJURED BY THEIR CUSTOMERS? DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY ANY INSURANCE PRODUCT FROM FARMERS!!!! Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Bottom of The Barrel Farmers Insurance is corrupt, unethical and their employees (management) are a bunch of half-wit morons. How's this for an example. How about a Manager who makes fun of cancer patients! Cracking jokes and then laughing about them! How about managers that insist that their customers are committing fraud (without any evidence or proof). And initiating investigations when it was unwarranted. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go elsewhere. Their rates suck, service sucks, they'll deny a claim in a heartbeat, with no grounds etc....The list goes on and on. They will find the most outlandish reaon to deny. Want further proof? Go to: farmersinsurancegroupsucks.com Comments [ 1 ] |

| Review: | very unfair treatment I was hit by a truck in a parking lot by a person who has Farmers Insurance, and I have Farmer's Insurance as well. When I filed my claim, both sides of the adjusters claimed it to be my fault, but I know for a fact that I am nowhere near fault. Since the truck had far less dammage than my car, the insurance company says it is completely my fault because they will say whatever to not pay for my damages. I really dislike Farmers Insurance. | Review: | Auto Insurance Review My parents are insured by Farmers. And my mom had an accident about on two months ago right after they switch to Farmers. The other party is 100% fault. But their insurance was canceled two months before the accident happened. In other word, the other party didn't have insurance at all. My mom's car is totally lost. It's a 2006 Honda accord. It took only two weeks then my parents got a check from Farmer for $21,000. Then, they went to buy an 2007 same model car with $22,000. The whole process is very smooth. My mom is still seeing doctor because of the accident, and Farmers promise to pay the medical bill as well. I don't know how other people think about Farmers Insurance. For my true experience, I think their agent services, claim department are great. Comments [ 0 ] |
